Trust Kareena Kapoor Khan to be her unfiltered self at any point of the day, and probably that has kept her relevant for over two decades. The actor who has managed to be around for that long has seen many ups and downs in her career and has had its own set of highlight points, from playing characters that were unconventional for their time, to ruling the commercial space, and even being an actor who achieved a zero figure. She now talks about the pressure of always looking young and a certain way.

Kareena, who debuted in 2000, has always been a trendsetter. Now, as the actor does roles that suit her taste and that are varied and fit right in her filmography, there is no pressure to run in any race. She is not afraid of any comparisons and also the judgments that come with the profession.

In her latest interview with Dirty Magazine, Kareena Kapoor Khan chose to talk about the same and confidence; she has a fascinating perspective to share. When asked about the confidence that draws people to her, and being authentic, the Singham Again actor said, “I've always been very confident, I don't know why. I have that gumption. I have that drive. Twenty years ago, I was making statements like ‘I am the best’. But I feel that's what got so many people to believe in me. I have no regrets.”

“I'm the kind of person that the more you know me, you know that I can't be fake,” she insists, “I’m too transparent, what I think or feel is just there on my face. I don't know any other way. Because I have never bothered about what people say. I really don't care,” she added.

Kareena Kapoor Khan then went on to talk about being relevant and the need to look a certain way. “Now especially, actors have to keep saying something or the other. I can’t. I just cut off. Otherwise, I wouldn't have lasted this long, I would have just have wilted in this competition, this pressure, the comparison of this look and that look, now so-and-so’s on the rise and I have to look young, so-and-so is doing this or that brand or is a global face. I can’t. I'm done,” she said.
