Karthik Subbaraj's all praise for Jr NTR, Ram Charan-starrer RRR; calls SS Rajamouli a MARVEL

Needless to day, RRR has been minting money at Kollywood box office as expected, thanks to soaring popularity of Rajamouli in Tamil Nadu over the years, effective marketing and film's universal appeal. Many Tamil celebrities wished success to the big budget movie even before its release and expressed interest in watching it in theatres.

Post its release, a few celebrities, including the likes of Shankar, went gaga over Rajamouli's vision and the stunning visuals in it. Karthik Subbaraj is the latest from Tamil cinema to express admiration over the Tollywood filmmaker's extraordinary talent in bringing out a visual spectacle.

He took to Twitter to say that RRR has a lot of goosebumps-inducing moments and added that the film has raised the standard of Indian movies. He also went on to call Rajamouli a marvel. His tweet read, "#RRR is mind blowing.... Goosebumps overloaded in every frame... @ssrajamouli sir..... You are a MARVEL. Take a bow to everyone involved.... Raising our Indian film standards to greater heights (sic)."

Earlier, Shankar had called the filmmaker as 'Maha Raja' mouli in his appreciation tweet. Interestingly, there is a connection which Ram Charan, one of the heroes of RRR, shares with Shankar and Karthik Subbaraj.

He plays the lead in Shankar's ongoing movie which has been tentatively titled as RC 15. The shooting of the project has been going on at full swing in many places. Karthik Subbaraj has written the movie's story.

This is the first time Shankar and Karthik have teamed up for a project. In an earlier chat with OTTplay, Karthik had expressed excitement over joining hands with the veteran filmmaker. As soon as the Pizza filmmaker was full of praise for RRR, fans of Charan expressed their eagerness to know about the status of RC 15 in the comment section.
