Kartik Aaryan is one of Bollywood's most popular actors. He is responsible for one of this year's greatest successes, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The actor recently discussed the movie that served as his inspiration for choosing acting as a profession.

In an interview with Film Companion, the actor shared that the 1993 film Baazigar encouraged him to become an actor. He explained, "I watched that movie in my childhood. Baazigar and in fact Darr too inspired me to become an actor."

Kartik has already mentioned a movie that affected his life in a similar manner. The Dhamaka actor highlighted this in December 2019 when he admitted that his original goal was to become an engineer.

He informed Pinkvilla, “In 9th grade, I saw Baazigar and knew I wanted to be on the other side of the screen. My parents were in the medical field and I was going to do engineering. I was unsure of my parents’ reaction, so I decided to study till 12th in Gwalior and then go to college in Mumbai. Luckily, I got into a college in Navi Mumbai.”

On the work front, the actor has Shehzada alongside Kriti Sanon. Rohit Dhawan will direct the movie.

Additionally, he will be seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha opposite Kiara Advani. Kiara and Kartik collaborate in SatyaPrem Ki Katha for the second time. Previously, they gave audiences the blockbuster Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

Their forthcoming film is a romantic story. It is planned for a June 2023 theatrical release.

The movie is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Sameer Vidwans. Apart from these movies, Kartik will also appear in Hansal Mehta's Captain India. He also has Shashank Ghosh-directed film Freddy alongside Alaya F.
