Kaun Banegi Shikharwati: First look of Naseeruddin Shah, Lara Durta’s ZEE5 series released

The makers of the upcoming dramedy titled Kaun Banegi Shikhrawati have released the first look poster and motion poster for the show. A release date for the show has also been revealed with the first look. 

The motion poster reveals each other main characters from the show, as they pop up on a golden frame with their name and character trait. The poster ends with a photograph of all the characters of the story posing in a big family photo.

The story of the series is believed to follow a former king, who has a dysfunctional family which includes four daughters. While he puts a plan in motion to unite the estranged sisters, an income tax investigation looms over the palace's hidden treasure.

The series is bankrolled by Nikkhil Advani and Sameer Nair under Emmay Entertainment and Applause Entertainment respectively and is set to release on ZEE5 in the of January, 2022.

Apart from Shah, the series also stars Soha Ali Khan, Lara Dutta, Kritika Kamra, Anya Singh, Cyrus Sahukar and Shikhar Srivastava in pivotal roles. 

The series is helmed by Gaurav K Chawla, who made his debut with the 2018 thriller drama Bazaar starring Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte and Rohan Vinod Mehra. 

Shah, who plays the aging king, was last seen in Bandish Bandits, Indian romantic drama web series on Amazon Prime Video.
