Koel Mallick sustains a severe injury while shooting Mitin Mashi’s third venture

Koel Mallick got seriously hurt while shooting an action sequence in Arindam Sil’s Ektu Khunir Khnoje Mitin – the third film in the Mitin Mashi franchise. According to the medical report, a bone in her hand was fractured. Koel previously shot action scenes as Mitin Mashi and the audience was thrilled seeing those actions and stunts. But this time, a mishap happened while shooting the new film of the Mitin Mashi franchise. 

Koel was hurt on March 31 while shooting the film Khunir Sandhane Mitin. The shooting was taking place in Nepalgunj. Koel previously said that it would be an action-packed film. She was going to the gym and having a strict diet. Koel was shooting under the supervision of the noted action director Sunil Rodrigues. Her hand got injured at that time. She promptly went to the hospital. The X-ray report showed that her right hand’s bone was fractured. Koel had to do a plaster. 

Director Arindam Sil said, “The pain was so much that Koel could not move her hand.” He then suspected that some fracture happened. The X-ray report confirmed the suspicion. She is now under treatment by Dr. Bikash Kapur in a private hospital. Koel said, “I will recover quickly.” 

The film Jongole Mitin Mashi was released last Puja. It did not do well at the box office. However, Koel already started her adventure project for the next film. This film is based on Suchitra Bhattacharya’s story Megher Pore Megh.
