Ahsaas Channa is playing a lead character in Clutch, a series that revolves around gamers. The series is out on YouTube on October 1.

Ahsaas Channa, whom you will perhaps best place as a child actor in films like Vaastu Shaastra, Phoonk, Phoonk 2 and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, is back in the limelight with her act in the second season of the web series Kota Factory.
The actor, who found her feet as a social media influencer and gathered 2.7 million followers on Instagram, told RJ Siddharth Kannan that she had taken a six-month break during her class 10 board exams, allowing her contemporaries to overtake her in the industry race. “People forgot me, casting directors forgot me, and other girls overtook me,” she said. And that prompted her to foray into the digital realm wherein she found a new start all over. Ahsaas said that she has fortunately not been out of work but things weren’t working at one point.

She is now a part of the ensemble cast of TVF’s Kota Factory which was acquired by Netflix. Kota Factory has struck a chord with the audience as a slice-of-life show that has humorous dialogues, quirky characters and a relatable storyline.
The series revolves around IIT aspirants who herd together to Kota, Rajasthan to take the gruelling training to make their IIT dreams come true. Raghav Subbu has helmed the series. Joining her in the cast of the series are Jeetendra Kumar, Revathi Pillai, Mayur More, Ranjan Raj and Alam Khan.
The 22-year-old is an avid gamer too. On the work front, she also plays the lead in a web series Clutch that has been billed as the first-of-its-kind show, centering on esports where the characters will compete with each other in a World Gaming Championship held in India. The characters of Clutch, helmed by Vishal Vashishtha, are gamers who hail from different socio-economic standings. They are making a comeback after seven years. The series dropped on YouTube on October 1.
