Kriti Sanon made her Bollywood debut with Heropanti in 2014 alongside Tiger Shroff. The actress has come a long way from where she started. She made a mark for herself without having a godfather in the film industry. Recently, as she graced the cover of Vogue India, Kriti opened up about how the industry can become more accessible to outsiders.

In a conversation with the magazine, Kriti said, "The industry can become more accessible for outsiders if we start creating equal opportunities—if you’re launching someone from the industry, make sure you’re also giving space to someone who doesn’t belong but is probably more talented."
The actress added that slowly the world tilting towards talent and scripts more than stars and big names.
Kriti Sanon wins National Award for Mimi
Last month, Kriti Sanon received her National Award for Mimi. The actress shared the honour with Alia Bhatt for Gangubai Kathiawadi. Sanon was on cloud nine as the actress was joined by her parents on the day of her National Award win.
While sharing glimpses of the big day, Kriti captioned her post, "Zameen badli nahi, toh aasmaan badal gaya.. When we are in a moment, its very rare that we know that its gonna be one of the best moments of our lives.. yesterday felt like that! Had my loved ones around.. missed you Nups @nupursanon , Dinoo, @laxman.utekar sir and the team of Mimi! had them in my heart! Feeling so much Gratitude! (sic)."
On the work front for Kriti
Meanwhile, Kriti was recently seen in Ganapath with Tiger Shroff and Amitabh Bachchan. Unfortunately, the film failed to impress the audience. Before Ganapath was released, Sanon was seen in Adipurush with Prabhas. The mythological movie also didn't work well at the box office.
Next, the actress has Rhea Kapoor's The Crew lined up. She will be sharing screen space with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu in the film. They've been shooting for the movie for a while now.
