L2 Empuraan – Mohanlal’s first look from Prithviraj Sukumaran’s film to release on THIS date?

L2 Empuraan, the action thriller that marks the third collaboration of Mohanlal and actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran, is one of the most eagerly-awaited upcoming projects in Malayalam cinema. The movie, which is a sequel to the duo’s 2019 blockbuster Lucifer, started rolling in October 2023. If the recent updates are to be believed, leading man Mohanlal’s highly anticipated first look from the movie is set to be released very soon. Meanwhile, some major updates on the next schedule of the film are also out.

If the recent updates are to be believed, Mohanlal’s highly anticipated first look from Prithviraj Sukumaran’s film has been slated to be revealed on May 21, 2024, on the special occasion of his 64th birthday. Some unconfirmed reports suggest that the makers of the Lucifer sequel are planning to drop both a birthday special teaser and the first look poster of the veteran actor on May 21 as a special treat to his fans. However, the L2 Empuraan team has not officially confirmed the reports yet.

L2 Empuraan's next schedule is in Gujarat?

The recent updates also suggest that director Prithviraj Sukumaran and his team are planning to kickstart the next schedule of the movie, very soon. Even though it was reported that the makers are planning to shoot in Kerala’s Capital city,Thiruvananthapuram,m next, the latest reports suggest that the schedule is delayed a bit. Instead, Prithviraj and his team are planning to wrap up the Gujarat portions of L2 Empuraan in a short schedule very soon.

In that case, the Kerala schedule of the action thriller will go on floors only in June 2024. As per the reports, leading man Mohanlal is planning to finish his portions for the upcoming Tharun Moorthy directorial, tentatively titled L360, before he joins the Kerala schedule of the Lucifer sequel. Earlier in an interview, director Prithviraj Sukumaran revealed that the movie will have extensive schedules in Kerala’s various locations, including Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Idukki, and Vandiperiyar. More updates on the same are expected to be out very soon.
