L2 Empuraan: Not Prithviraj Sukumaran or Jerome Flynn, this character video has the highest views after Mohanlal

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s L2 Empuraan, starring Mohanlal, has been hogging most of the limelight in the Malayalam landscape for the past many days. Prithviraj has kept the buzz alive for the highly anticipated Malayalam film, which is releasing on March 27, 2025. The character introduction videos have been garnering much love and views on YouTube. But interestingly, the video of one Empuraan character has registered more views than that of Prithviraj and Game of Thrones’ star Jerome Flynn. Read on to find out which actor has recorded the most number of views for his character video, which stands second only to Mohanlal. 

L2 Empuraan: Character video with the highest views after Mohanlal

Undoubtedly, Mohanlal takes the top spot as usual but is followed by Suraj Venjaramoodu in terms of the views for the character videos on YouTube. The video of Mohanlal talking about his character Khureshi Ab’raam aka Stephen Nedumpally has recorded 860K views on YouTube (as of March 1), while Suraj Venjaramoodu’s video has received 827K views. Suraj Venjaramoodu plays politician Sajanachandran in the Mohanlal-starrer. 

Notably, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s video on his character Zayed Masood has only 802K views. The announcement about Game of Thrones’ star Jerome Flynn’s entry into Malayalam cinema with L2 Empuraan took the internet by storm and fans were left dumbstruck by this ‘insane casting’.

Despite this, Jerome Flynn’s introduction video has garnered only 303K views on YouTube. Jerome Flynn plays Boris Oliver in Prithviraj Sukumaran’s film. The videos were released on Aashirvad Cinemas' YouTube channel.

Suraj Venjaramoodu in L2 Empuraan

In his character introduction video, Suraj Venjaramoodu humorously talked about how he won a place in this much-anticipated second part of the Lucifer franchise. The National Award-winning actor, who is known for his inimitable style of comedy, quipped that he pointed out the one flaw in Lucifer to Prithviraj that guaranteed him a place in the second installment.
