However, the makers remained tight-lipped about other details of the movie and stayed away from the limelight all these months. They have now officially revealed that Jai has been roped in to play a crucial character in the movie. The announcement comes on the occasion of his birthday falling today.
The team is yet to let out other suspense associated with the project, leaving fans confused. The movie marks the reunion of Nayanthara and Jai after the superhit film Raja Rani in which their chemistry was lauded by one and all. Jai was seen in a cameo in Suriya-starrer Masss and Silambarasan-starrer Idhu Namma Aalu which had Nayan playing female leads.
The film marks the actress' 75th project and more details on it is expected later this year. Zee Studios has been part of a few Kollywood movies in the recent past, including Ajith's Thunivu and Valimai.
Dinesh Krishnan is said to be handling cinematography while Praveen Antony is at the helm of editing. Jacki monitors the art direction of Lady Superstar 75. The team has kept information pertaining to its music composer under wraps.
Nayanthara, who was last seen in Connect, will next be featured in Iraivan which has her paired opposite Jayam Ravi. Her Bollywood debut, Jawan, which has her sharing screen presence with Shah Rukh Khan, is her next big ticket flick.
