The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

The 2001 epic film follows the Dark Lord Sauron, who is trying to regain power by obtaining the One Ring, which holds a portion of his power. The young hobbit Frodo Baggins has come into the possession of the Ring. As Frodo and his eight friends (the Fellowship of the Ring) set out on their treacherous trek to Mount Doom in the kingdom of Mordor, the only location where the Ring can be destroyed, the fate of Middle-earth hangs in the balance. At the 74th Academy Awards, the film won several awards, including Best Cinematography, Best Original Score, and Best Visual Effects.

Aquaman

The DC character Aquaman  served as the inspiration for the 2018 superhero movie, directed by James Wan. Starring Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, the film aims to stop King Orm (Patrick Wilson) from unifying the seven underwater kingdoms to destroy the surface world. Nicole Kidman, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Amber Heard, and Willem Dafoe. The sequel, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, released in 2023.

Slumberland

The film revolves around a young girl who moves in with her uncle, after her father is lost at sea. She travels to Slumberland and befriends a quirky figure who is engaged in a scheme to reach the Sea of Nightmares and acquire a special pearl that might be able to bring her and her father back together. Directed by Francis Lawrence, the 2022 fantasy film marked the debut of Marlow Barkley as Nemo. It also featured Jason Momoa, Chris O'Dowd, and Kyle Chandler.

Jack the Giant Slayer

Directed by Bryan Singer, the 2013 fantasy adventure centers on Jack, a young farmhand who unintentionally opens a portal to a race of giants' sky-dwelling land and now has to save a princess from them. Nicholas Hoult, Eleanor Tomlinson, Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane star in the movie, which is based on British fairy tales.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore

This is the fourth instalment in the Fantastic Beasts series, and is a follow-up to Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018). The film begins with professor Albus Dumbledore assigning Newt Scamander and his comrades a mission that leads them right into Gellert Grindelwald's army. Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Ezra Miller, and Dan Fogler are among the ensemble cast members in the 2022 movie, which was directed by David Yates.

Damsel

Elodie, played by Millie Bobby Brown, accepts a marriage proposal only to find out later that she is being exploited to pay off a royal family's obligations. She has to fend off attacks from the dragon that is hiding in the abyss. Ray Winstone, Nick Robinson, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Angela Bassett, and Robin Wright make up the main cast of the movie. Millie Bobby Brown’s fearless performance is the highlight of the movie.

The School for Good and Evil

The 2022 fantasy film, directed by Paul Feig, is based on Soman Chainani's 2013 novel of the same name. Sophia Anne Caruso stars as Sophie and Sofia Wylie as Agatha, two best friends who are sent to the Schools for Good and Evil, lead the ensemble cast in the movie. Their bond is tested when their fortunes appear to turn around.
