After a whirlwind promotion of his recent outing, Maaveeran, Sivakarthikeyan has flown back to join the set of his next project in Kashmir. Picture of the actor at the airport has been doing the rounds on social media. Sivakarthikeyan had taken a break from the set of SK 21 and had joined the promotional tour of Maaveeran for over a week. During the tour, the actor visited Kochi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Dubai and Malaysia until the film's release.

The actor's dedication and commitment to his work has won the hearts of many. SK 21 is helmed by Rajkumar Periyasamy and has Sai Pallavi as the leading lady. This is their maiden collaboration.


Ever since Sivakarthikeyan began shooting for the film, he has been wearing a cap on public occasions to keep his look a secret. He had also revealed that he would be off social media for a while and that his handle will be taken care of by his admin.

Sai Pallavi has been sharing a series of pictures from Kashmir, which have taken the internet by storm. SK 21 is bankrolled by Kamal Haasan's production house, Raaj Kamal Films International.


On the other hand, his latest outing Maaveeran has opened to positive reviews from critics and audience alike. The film marks the sophomore outing of director Madonne Ashwin, whose maiden venture Mandela had bagged the National Award. Sivakarthikeyan plays a timid cartoonist, who is one day bestowed with unusual powers.

The film stars Mysskin, Sunil, Aditi Shankar, Yogi Babu, Saritha, Monisha Blessy to name a few. Music for the film is by Bharath Shankar, cinematography by Vidhu Ayyanna and editing by Philomin.


While Raj Kumar Gangappan and Arun Venjaramoodu have handled the art direction, Yannick Ben has choreographed the stunt sequences. Arun Viswa of Shanthi Talkies has bankrolled the project. The digital rights of the film have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video
