Maidaan Box Office Day 4 (Worldwide): Eid 2024 came with a nostalgic feel as we saw two massive movies with big stars making their way to the big screen. However, both movies couldn't recreate the magic of past Eid releases and failed to live up to the audience's expectations. While Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is still to touch the Rs 100 crore mark globally even with an extended weekend, Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan is having a very slow walk and is far from even reaching Rs 50 crore globally so far.
The worldwide numbers of the movie have now been released, and while the projections have been positive for Sunday, the movie is still far from being called a profitable venture because it has not performed well in the initial three days of its release. Even with an extended weekend and early paid previews, the movie has not managed to create a dent, and that is worrisome.

Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan is the better-reviewed movie of the week and has still struggled to make ends meet not just at the Indian box office but even the international one. As per the latest numbers coming in, Maidaan has managed to collect Rs 31.86 crore gross at the global box office. The film is far from even the Rs 50 crore milestone globally even with an extended weekend in its kitty, and that is an upsetting track record. It even had the privilege of paid previews and an extended weekend where it failed to create buzz.

Maidaan is a movie that had to rely on word of mouth as it is a film made with a whole lot of heart. But it seems like it failed to do so because even in the Indian market, it has not found an elevation that is commendable. According to reports, the film earned Rs 6.52 crore at the domestic box office, leading to a total of Rs 22.22 crore domestically. While one can call it a decent number, it is still not close to the estimates. It will be interesting to see how the movie fares this week.
