Maja Maa: Gajraj Rao highlights his co-star Madhuri Dixit's exceptional work ethics

Gajraj Rao recently spoke to ETimes regarding his working experience on sets with Madhuri Dixit. The actor will appear alongside Madhuri in the direct-to-OTT film Maja Maa, which will premiere on Amazon Prime Video.

Rao is overjoyed to be sharing screen time with his legend, Madhuri. The Badhaai Ho actor stated, "The experience of working with Madhuri was fantastic. She is such a disciplined artist, especially when it comes to her rehearsals and preparation."

Rao went on to discuss Madhuri's work ethics, saying that she never made him feel like she was a famous actress. "She’s the best co-actor one could ask for. When you’re working with her, she never lets you feel or realise that you’re working with Madhuri Dixit. "She's always so easy to work with," he added.

The Ray actor expressed his excitement for the film's release, saying, "I am excited for our film together. I hope it will be out in the next 2-3 months, and I can’t wait to see how audiences react to our movie."

Maja Maa is a family drama set in the Indian state of Baroda. The plot centres on a caring mother who unknowingly becomes one of the reasons why her son's wedding cannot go off without a hiccup. The film will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video and the streaming date is yet to be announced.

Anand Tiwari has directed the film, which also stars Rajit Kapur, Simone Singh, Srishti Shrivastava, and Sheeba Chaddha.

Meanwhile, Madhuri made her OTT debut a few months back with The Fame Game series, currently streaming on Netflix.
