The second poster of Ranjith Sankar’s Jai Ganesh will be unveiled by the makers at 10:10 am on January 1. The film, which is set to release in theatres on April 11, will see Unni Mukundan and Mahima Nambiar in lead roles.
Unni Mukundan and Ranjith Sankar are producing this movie under the banners of Unni Mukundan Films and Dreams N Beyond. Ashokan, Jomol, Ravindra Vijay, Hareesh Perady, and Nandu are also among the supporting cast of the film.
In a social media post on December 21, Unni Mukundan revealed that the team had finished the entire shoot. The actor took a moment to thank the whole crew and share his excitement for the film's impending release through this video on his official Instagram page. He added that he was currently in Theni for another shoot for a Tamil project.
"The filming of Jai Ganesh is now finished, and despite the hectic schedule, I enjoyed working on this project. The movie will be released for Vishu, and more updates on the teaser and trailer release are expected to come soon,” he said in the video post. The Vikramadithyan actor also expressed interest in the opinions of the viewers regarding this movie.
Sankar Sharma has composed music for Jai Ganesh, which will be distributed by Unni Mukundan Films. Mahaveeryar-famous Chandru Selvaraj has helmed the camera work for the movie, which was mostly shot in Ernakulam and nearby areas.
Unni Mukundan’s 39th Malayalam film
Unni Mukundan, who has appeared in over 40 films across various languages, including Tamil and Telugu, appeared in Kadhikan this year. The film, which also starred Mukesh, Ketaki Narayan, and Krishnanand, was released on December 8. Jayaraj has directed this movie. The actor garnered a tonne of praise for his performance in Malikappuram (2022), which is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The family entertainer won the Kerala Film Critics Association Award for Best Popular Film in the same year.
