The Malayalam actress says that making her mother’s dream come true was her biggest dream

Switzerland is, perhaps, the country that has been most romanticized in Indian cinema; there are countless romantic numbers shot amid its snow-clad mountains, and plains studded with abundant flowers. It is no wonder, then, that it is one of the most popular choices for tourists.
On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Malayalam actress Ahaana Krishna took to Instagram about her Switzerland trip, which was about fulfilling her mother, Sindhu's long dream of seeing Switzerland and the tulips in Holland.
She wrote, “When I was a little girl … maybe 6 or 7 … My Mother told me that her biggest wish was to some-day see Switzerland, the place that looks like a painting and to see Tulips in Holland! As a 6-year-old, probably the first and only 2 foreign destinations I knew of was Switzerland and Holland! And over the years, whenever we’d see these 2 places in various movies, Mom would keep admiring them! A part of my heart always dreamt of making this dream of hers come true because I’ve always seen her give so much importance to everything I’ve wanted - big and small. Finally last month, I could make it come true. This image right there is one for my core memory; of her at the picturesque Switzerland and of her smiling amidst a never-ending tulip field in Holland. For my Mother who takes every little thing of mine so seriously, the least I can do in return is take every dream of hers seriously and bring them to life. I hope this image is as much a core-memory for you as it is for me. Happy Mothers’ Day Mamma. Thank you for being there all the time, for every little thing. Here’s to seeing new dreams and making them all come true.”
