The makers of 9 2 11 aka Nau Do Gyarah have just released a short clip from the show, which is streaming on Ullu and OTTplay Premium. In this video, Zoya Rathore’s Janvi finds out that her ex-lover Jay (Ranveer Singh) is still in love with her. Since Janvi is already married to Raj (Bhavesh Valji Kantariya), the relationship is forbidden. But will Janvi actually be able to resist the temptation, especially when she and Raj are in a toxic marriage?
What’s in the promo?
Janvi is just about to place an order when a voice places her coffee order, just the way she likes it. Janhvi realizes that she is familiar with the voice and smiles. She turns around and finds her once-lover Jay right there. He greets her with a smile as well, only to sweep her over later. Jay teases Janvi stating that she leaves (a relationship) mid-way. Soon, Janvi is informed that Jay never got married. This sets the tone for what is to come – that Jay never got over Janvi and the password on his phone is still her name.
The iconic dialogue
The promo has the iconic dialogue, “Main tumhe apne dil mein jagah nahi de sakti Jay, par haan mere mobile mein tumhe zaroor jagah de sakti hoon.” It is when Jay points out that Janvi honours a man who doesn’t love her by putting a sindoor of his name, but cannot give her real lover something like her phone number.
