Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha's Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal to have a theatrical release in February

Looks like more Tamil films are eyeing February for their theatrical releases like never before. Suriya's Etharkkum Thunindhavan was the first film to have announced its arrival on February 4. The buzz in the industry is strong that Sivakarthikeyan's Don is likely releasing in the month. 

Now, the latest we hear is that Vignesh Shivan's multi-starrer flick Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal will also join the race. Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha play pivotal roles in the romantic drama which has music composed by Anirudh. An official update on the same is expected, though.

Earlier, there were speculation on the film having a direct release on Disney+ Hotstar in November, though it turned out to be untrue. Later, after the makers released character posters from the movie, which confirmed its theatrical release, it was heard that the makers are planning for a release in the last week of December.

The first and second singles from the project, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, were released earlier. He had hinted at the release of the third single recently, and his fans are expecting the same in a few days.

Vishnu Vishal's FIR will also join the bandwagon and they had informed the same recently. However, they are yet to announce an official date. With more projects ready for theatrical release in February, it has to be seen how exhibitors are charting shows for movie buffs. 

Meanwhile, Hari's Yaanai, starring Arun Vijay and Priya Bhavani Shankar in lead roles, is another movie which is also said to be in the February race.
