There was a sweet moment in the first season of Never Have I Everwhere Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) and her two friends look up Kegel exercises while trying to figure out how best to have sex. The trailer of the second season shows that Devi & Co have moved on from that line of questioning to something else — whom to have sex with?

There is Ben (Jaren Lewison), Devi’s academic nemesis who was sweet to Devi in the last episode, driving her to her mother who is delivering her father’s ashes to the sea. But he has hairy forearms. Then there is Paxton (Darren Barnet), the resident high school hottie who despite not being smart in the Devi-sense, is “prolly good at sex”.

Throw in the fray Aneesa, the new Indian girl at school who is “prettier, cooler”, and the season is hurtling towards a messy comedy of errors.

Created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, and starring Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Poorna Jagannathan, Darren Barnet, Ramona Young, Lee Rodriguez, Richa Moorjani, and Jaren Lewison, the second season drops on Netflix on July 15.
