Nidhhi Agerwal, who was looking to score a major hit after iSmart Shankar, is finally releived to have resumed her success streak in Telugu cinema with the Sankranthi release Hero, where she was paired opposite debutant Ashok Galla, veteran star Krishna's grandson. The film had her playing the role of Subbu, a doctor, whom the lead character Arjun is head over heels in love with. She was thankful to the efforts of the entire team at Hero's success meet held in Hyderabad during the weekend.

"It feels really nice to be part of a success meet (referring to 'thank you meet'). Everybody works hard and puts years of their life, effort, energy and prayers into one film and the result has come here. Luckily, with Hero, we've been blessed with a very positive result. I thank audiences and media for writing such good reviews about our film. I'd like to thank the producers, Padmavathi Galla and Jay Galla of Amara Raja Entertainment. You can see the quality in the film and they haven't at all compromised. Hero looks huge," she said.

Adding that the shift in release date played its part in the film's success, Nidhhi mentioned, "Complete credit to our team for advancing the release date of Hero; whatever it is, it has worked out perfectly for us. I am grateful to director Sriram Adittya for delivering such a big hit - that says it all. He has written a great script and made such a stylish, funny film. I was laughing all the way in the theatres. For audiences who know the language better may have enjoyed every single moment in Hero, but even I relished watching it to the fullest."

Elaborating on her co-actors, she shared, "Brahmaji garu's scene is the major highlight in the film, he's such a big plus. The first film is always important for actors and Ashok Galla couldn't have asked for a better debut than Hero. Everybody who has messaged me about Hero have also complimented him. He totally deserves all the praise coming his way. Jagapathi Babu (sir) is the coolest person I've ever met in my life. The kind of attention he has brought to the film with his presence is definitely worthy of an applause. Naresh (sir) has done a splendid job as well; the kids were enjoying his jokes non-stop."

Nidhhi Agerwal's next release in Telugu is Hari Hara Veera Mallu, alongside Pawan Kalyan, a period film directed by Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
