Nivin Pauly had reportedly dropped 15 kilos for his role in Haneef Adeni’s next, which is shot in Dubai

Premam star Nivin Pauly’s first photos from the sets of The Great Father director Haneef Adeni’s next have surfaced online. The actor, who joined the team in Dubai on January 20, looked a lot slimmer from his previous film Saturday Night, which is set to drop on Disney+ Hotstar on January 27.
While initial reports claimed that Saniya Iyappan and Balu Varghese were part of the film, we now hear that Mukundan Unni Associates actress Arsha Chandini Baiju and Super Sharanya fame Mamitha Baiju are now part of the film, which also has Jaffer Idukki, Vijilesh and Vinay Forrt.
The movie, which went on floors last week in the UAE, has Vishnu Thandassery as its cinematographer and Rorschach composer Midhun Mukundan as its music director. The latter, who had also composed the tunes for Garuda Gamana Vrushabha Vahana, had also scored the music for Antony Varghese’s Poovan.
The shoot of the movie is expected to go on for a few more weeks. The yet-to-be-titled film is produced by Nivin under his banner Pauly Jr Pictures and Listen Stephen’s Magic Frames. Nivin reportedly lost close to 15 kilos through naturopathy treatment to essay the character. The actor is also set to join Jana Gana Mana director Dijo Jose Antony’s next, which will also be produced by Magic Frames and will be shot in Dubai.
Dijo, in a recent chat with OTTplay, confirmed that the movie go on floors in the UAE in February and that he will be heading to Dubai as part of recce for the film, which will mark his third directorial after Queen and Jana Gana Mana.
Meanwhile, Nivin’s Thuramukham, which is helmed by Rajeev Ravi, is still awaiting release. The makers had announced several release dates the past year but the movie has been caught in financial issues. Joju George, Darshana Rajendrana, Indrajith Sukumaran and Poornima Indrajith are also part of the cast.
