Oke Oka Jeevitham teaser: Three friends, one time machine and 90s nostalgia in abundance

Sharwanand, after multiple releases this year - Sreekaram and Maha Samudram, is returning with a light-hearted family entertainer, Oke Oka Jeevitham. Written and directed by Shree Karthick, the Tamil-Telugu bilingual (titled Kanam in Tamil) also stars Ritu Varma, Amala Akkineni, Vennela Kishore, Priyadarshi and Nassar in key roles. The film's teaser was launched in both languages today.

The teaser commences with a scientist (Nassar) making a supposedly mind-boggling reveleation of inventing a new time machine that one can travel only once in their lives. Three friends, played by Sharwanand, Priyadarshi and Vennela Kishore, have to go back in time for a reason but not inform anyone that they belong to a different timeline. 

The scientist further informs that they would need a safe place to hide the time machine from the eyes of the public. The frame directs viewers to a photo from a house in a dilipitated state. The glimpse ends on a nostalgic note with three friends watching an advertisement on Nirma from the 1990s and they can't be happier. Vennela Kishore even has tears in his eyes. 

Amala Akkineni and Ritu Varma are seen briefly in the teaser, playing the on-screen mother and love interest in Sharwanand's life. Director Tharun Bhascker has interestingly penned the dialogues for the project. Jakes Bejoy has scored the music while technician-siblings cinematographer Sujeeth Sarang and editor Sreejith Sarang are also part of the bilingual. N Satheesh Kumar is the art director while Sudesh Kumar handles the stunts. Sirivennela Sitaramasastri and Krishnakanth are the lyricists.

SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu have produced the film under Dream Warrior Pictures and are expecting to release it in February 2022. The filming of Oke Oka Jeevitham had completed in November 2020.
