Fans of Suriya, who are excited over the success of Amazon Prime Video's Jai Bhim, has one more reason to celebrate now. The shooting of Pandiraj's Etharkkum Thunindhavan has wrapped up, and the filmmaker himself took to his social media page to announce the same.
In his tweet, he thanked Suriya, production house Sun Pictures and cinematographer Rathnavelu for helping him complete the movie in the stipulated time. He also added that movie lovers can expect many updates soon in the coming days.
His tweet read, "#EtharkkumThunindhavan Shooting wrapped up successfully ! I sincerely thank my production house @Sunpictures, our hero @Suriya_offl sir, @RathnaveluDop sir and my team for all the support extended. More updates coming soon. #எதற்கும்துணிந்தவன் #ET (sic)."
The movie brings together Suriya and Pandiraj for the second time after Pasanga 2 (streaming on Amazon Prime Video) which released in 2015. Etharkkum Thunindhavan has Priyanka Arul Mohan playing the female lead. Vinay Rai, Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Soori and MS Bhaskar essay crucial characters in the movie which has editing by Ruben and music by Imman.
The first look and second look of the project was unveiled on Suriya's birthday in July, and it is expected that the film might hit the screens towards December end or in January. Earlier, a source close to the team of Dhanush's Maaran had told OTTplay that they will announce the release date of their film based on Etharkkum Thunindhavan's arrival.
There are reports of the movie clashing with Ajith's Valimai at the box office for Pongal 2022. Fans of Suriya have their fingers crossed now and are eagerly looking forward to the official announcement on the project's release.
