Parambrata and Piya’s wedding: Nandini Chatterjee, Swastika Sahana speak up against trolls

Parambrata Chatterjee and Piya Chakraborty, who got married on December 27, were attacked by a group of netizen moral police. Piya’s former husband Anupam Roy was also dragged into the trolling. 

Abir Chatterjee’s wife Nandini stood beside Piya without naming her and took a jibe at the trolls. Piya also replied to her, thanking her for her support. Their comments are now viral on social media.

Parambrata's ex-girlfriend Swastika Mukherjee also commented on Nandini's post. The trolls are dragging her past relationship with Parambrata which happened 15 years back. She wrote, “They dragged a 15-year-old past. I don’t feel surprised anymore. You have been saved, Nandu.”

Singer Sahana Bajpayee also condemned the attack. She said, “I separated from a celeb 15 years ago. However, I am still trolled for this. They don't spare my daughter Rohini and questions about her father's identity.” 

Soon after the marriage, Piya underwent surgery at a city hospital. After getting back to her home, she shared the photo from her bedroom. There was a card with Merci written on it. In the caption, Piya wrote, “Home vibes. Warmth and love pouring in. Merci Beaucoup!” Merci Beaucoup means Thank You. Piya also wrote #HappyPlace. She shared the same photo on her Instagram.
