Park Hyung Sik & Park Bo Young's reunion sparks enthusiasm among 'Strong Woman Do Bong Soon' fans

The beloved K-drama couple from "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young, have reunited onscreen after a six-year gap, this time for a spin-off titled "Strong Girl Namsoon." This spin-off, inspired by the popular series "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," takes the form of a comedy that revolves around three generations of incredibly strong women who are dedicated to investigating drug-related crimes in the Gangnam area.

Recently unveiled stills from the series mark the highly anticipated return of Ahn Min Hyuk, portrayed by Park Hyung Sik, and Do Bong Soon, reigniting the interest of viewers.

The production team conveyed, "The special appearance of Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik, who kick-started the 'Strong Girl' series, carries great significance. The reunion of the dynamic duo, Do Bong Soon and Ahn Min Hyuk, is poised to deliver captivating onscreen chemistry. The meeting of this unique, strong family promises to be portrayed in an enjoyable manner, and we hope you eagerly anticipate it."

Shortly after, fans flocked to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express their excitement about witnessing the beloved couple reunite on screen once more.

The Strong Girl Namsoon series:

In the "Strong Girl Namsoon" series, Lee Yoo Mi takes on the role of Gang Nam Soon, Do Bong Soon's (played by Park Bo Young) second cousin. Gang Nam Soon is portrayed as an eccentric and spirited individual with extraordinary strength, who travels from Mongolia in search of her parents. 

Kim Jung Eun assumes the character of Hwang Geum Joo, Gang Nam Soon's mother, a well-off figure in Gangnam known for her strong sense of justice. Finally, Kim Hae Sook embodies the role of Gil Joong Gan, Gang Nam Soon's maternal grandmother and a highly respected figure in the Majang neighbourhood.
