Pooja Hegde wraps up her portions for Vijay's Beast; says she had a blast working in the film

The shooting of Nelson Dilipkumar's Beast commenced earlier this year with strict adherence of COVID-19 norms. The team unveiled the project's first look and second look in June, on Vijay's birthday. For the last few months, there hasn't been any major update from the movie except for a working still which Nelson shared recently.   

Now, it is revealed that Pooja Hegde, who plays the female lead in the movie, has wrapped up her portions. A video of her describing the experience of having worked in the film has been released by the Twitter handle of Sun Pictures, which is bankrolling the movie.

The 45-second video has her saying, "Hi guys, it's been great working for Beast. It's been an absolute pleasure to be on the set. We have laughed so much while making the film. And I hope you guys are going to laugh as well in typical Nelson style and Vijay sir style. This film is going to be an absolute entertainment. Everyone has been so lively; it honesty felt like it was a vacation while shooting for the film. Sadly, today is my last day for Beast. It's a shoot wrap for my portions. See you in theatres."     

Anirudh is composing music for the film; Beast marks his third collaboration with both Vijay and Nelson. The movie was in the news recently as its first look update was the top Indian entertainment tweet of 2021. Fans of Vijay are now eagerly looking forward to the unveiling of its third look.

Manoj Paramahamsa and R Nirmal have been cranking the camera and editing the film respectively. Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, Aparna Das and John Vijay among others play pivotal roles in the film
