Rajamouli’s RRR wraps up the shoot, starts post-production work

The makers of S. S. Rajamouli’s RRR have confirmed that the film has completed its filming and has moved to post-production. The news was announced by the makers through the film’s official Twitter handle along with a photo that informs us that its post-production is moving swiftly. 

The tweet read: “And that's a wrap! Except a couple of pickup shots, we are officially done with the entire shoot of #RRRMovie. Incidentally, we finished with the same bike shot that we started with on November 19th 2018.” 

Reportedly made at a whopping Rs. 400 crore, RRR is one of the most anticipated Telugu movies of the year. The period action drama is also written by Rajamouli, who is now a fan favorite across the country following the success of his magnum opus Baahubali

RRR will tell the story of two fictional revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju played by Ram Charan and Komaram Bheem played by Jr NTR, who fight the British Raj and the Nizam of Hyderabad respectively. Set in the 1920s, Rajamouli explores how the two revolutionaries could have been friends during their formative years. 

RRR has a star-studded cast that consists of Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Samuthirakani apart from Charan and Jr NTR. The film is already celebrated among fans as it brings together two of the biggest actors in the industry.

Produced by D. V. V Danayya under the banner of Lyca Productions, the film has music composed by M. M. Keeravani while K. K. Senthil Kumar is the cinematographer.
