Filmmaker-actor Rakshit Shetty is now busy promoting his upcoming movie Sapta Sagaradaache Ello - Side B. During one of his recent interviews he revealed his past romance that ended on a bittersweet note.

Talking about his real-life experience with romance, Rakshit went down memory lane and recounted a time when he was in love with a girl, while he was pursuing his engineering degree at a college in Mangalore.

"I liked a girl while I was doing my engineering. I wrote a love letter to her and gave it to my friend to pass it to her. Because they used to travel on the same bus route. He never gave it to her. And he told me that after two years. I was actually expecting that she would reply (to my love letter). There is no change in her behaviour. The most beautiful part is now they are married to each other," revealed Rakshit, taking everyone by surprise.

Rakshit seems to harbour no ill feelings towards his friend for pulling the rug from under his feet. As the iconic saying goes, "All is fair in love and war." And Rakshit seems to understand it very well and made peace with the twist in his love story.

Rakshit Shetty is waiting for the release of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello - Side B, which is due in cinemas on November 17. The two-part love story tells the tragic tale of Manu, who loses his love to an ill-thought decision, which earns him a decade-long imprisonment. The follow-up film will follow how Manu will cope with life after he gets out of prison, with his lover Priya already married to another man.
