Saani Kaayidham: Sam CS comes on board as the music director for the upcoming Keerthy Suresh and Selvaraghavan starrer

We earlier heard that Keerthy Suresh and director Selvaraghavan had completed filming and dubbing for their upcoming social drama, Saani Kaayidham. The makers recently took to social media to welcome music director Sam CS to compose the tunes for the movie.

Bankrolled by Screen Scene Studio, the makers recently welcomed Sam CS to the team of Saani Kaayidham as the music composer. The latter also conveyed his gratitude for working with the cast and crew of the upcoming social drama set in the 80s.

Earlier, Yuvan Shankar Raja was roped in to compose the tunes for Saani Kaayidham but was ultimately replaced with the Vikram Vedha music director. The reasons for that are unknown.

Helmed by Arun Matheswaran, Saani Kaayidham is touted to be based on real life incidents of the 80s. We will get to see Keerthy Suresh and Selvaraghavan in rustic avatars in the roles of siblings. The first look of the social period drama which came out earlier, saw the duo crouched on the ground, carrying grave expressions as they were under the custody of police. We could also see that weapons were laid out in front of them.

Talking about Keerthy Suresh, her latest outing was the Diwali outing of the Rajinikanth starrer Annaatthe. We got to see her in the role of the superstar’s younger sister.

Selvaraghavan, on the other hand, is occupied with filming for the upcoming Vijay action entertainer Beast. He is expected to portray an antagonistic avatar in the film. He is also occupied with filming for the Dhanush starrer Naane Varuven which marks the brothers' reunion after their mass outing, Mayakkam Enna.
