With this, the total re-release collection of Sanam Teri Kasam becomes around Rs. 21.75 crore net in 5 days, and it is aiming to collect Rs. 28-30 crore net first week which is simply brilliant.
In an interview with India Forums, Sanam Teri Kasam directors Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru revealed that the script of Sanam Teri Kasam 2 is ready as the plot was written in two parts from the beginning. They are also sure about where Inder's (Harshvardhan Rane's character) story will go.
"That is why in the end he goes near that tree and Suru's voice echoes with her dialogues, which prepares you for part 2," they added. Speaking about the release date of the second part, the filmmakers shared that since everyone saw the first part this year's Valentine's Day, they will try to release Sanam Teri Kasam 2 on next year's Valentine's Day.
Meanwhile, Sanam Teri Kasam tells the love story between Inder, a rebellious and hardened ex-convict, and Saraswati (Saru), a shy librarian who is considered an outcast by her family. The film is also available on ZEE5 and JioCinema (OTTplay Premium).
