This is Rakshit Shetty’s favourite song from the soundtrack of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B and now we know why. The actor-producer had mentioned it a few times that the Side B version of the title track will take audiences by surprise and he wasn’t wrong. Composer Charan Raj has come up with a version that reflects all that Side B stands for. From the composition to his choice of singer, Kathik Chennoji Rao, Charan Raj has got it spot on and netizens are absolutely loving this avatar of the title track that Kapil Kapilan had made popular with a more mellifluous rendition for Side A.

Charan Raj gives a rock twist to Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B’s title track version 

The Side B title track premiered today at 6.06 pm, and if the comments are anything to go by, this one’s a winner already. The different shade of the song and the singer deserve special mention, they reckon. Here’s a look at some of the comments that have come in so far:

Not everyone is sold on the song though, since the Side A version was a soothing melody that had struck a chord with audiences. This kind of a drastic shift in tone was not expected, say those who prefer the original version over the new one. Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B will be in theatres on November 17 in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
