Vignesh Raja's Por Thozhil, which garnered a unanimous positive response from the press show, hit screens two weeks ago. The crime thriller, which stars Sarath Kumar and Ashok Selvan in lead roles, is set to become the highest Tamil grosser in the genre.

It is expected that the movie will earn 30 crores gross collection at the end of its full run at the box office. Engaging screenplay, riveting performances from actors and effective twists worked in favour of the film which went on to impress the audience in Kerala as well. SonyLIV has bagged its digital rights and an announcement on the project's OTT premiere is awaited.

Its makers have now dropped a new promo featuring both the lead actors of Por Thozhil indulging in a free-wheeling conversation about the experiences they had while shooting, expectations on the movie and the feedback from audience. It begins with Ashok telling Sarath that he was a little tense initially over the chemistry their characters should develop.

A curious Ashok asks the senior actor whether he has watched any of his films, to which the latter replies 'Manmadha Leelai'. Ashok jokingly says that it is Sarath's biopic and the latter laughs out loudly.

Ashok then went on to say that he was really inspired by Sarath's commitment and dedication in terms of following the script to the tee. The Varisu actor noted that it was fun watching the film along with the audience to know whether they are enjoying each sequence.

Sarath says, "As an actor, the curiosity factor has always been there for me with regard to knowing whether the audience would be impressed with our films or not." The duo ends the promo by pinning hopes on teaming up again for Por Thozhil 2.
