Sarkaar with Jiiva: The actor's geared up for his OTT debut with a game show for THIS digital platform

Jiiva, who currently has three films in his kitty, has surprised one and all by announcing his debut into the digital world. He will be hosting a unique game show which has been titled Sarkaar with Jiiva. He also released a promo video for the same which has him talking about a project with an aspiring filmmaker.  

The actor is impressed with the one line he narrates and asks him for more details on it. But little did he know that the concept narrated to him was for a game show and not for a movie.

Later, Jiiva reveals the suspense associated with the project. The game show which involves him taking its participants, including celebrities, for a ride will be streaming on aha Tamil. Though the team is tight-lipped about its characteristics, it is known that the show will be dropped soon.

Apparently, this is said to be the Tamil version of the Telugu show Sarkaar which has completed two seasons on aha. The Telugu show which commenced last year has popular anchor-turned-actor Pradeep Machiraju as its host. Fans of Jiiva and other Tamil movie lovers are eagerly waiting to know how the actor is going to pull off the show.

Last seen in Bollywood flick 83 (streaming on Netflix), Jiiva currently has Golmaal, Coffee With Kadhal and Varalaru Mukkiyam in his kitty. Though the release dates of these projects aren't confirmed, it looks like Coffee With Kadhal is likely to hit the screens first. A couple of promo videos were unveiled from the Sundar C directorial recently.

His last outing in Tamil was Kalathil Santhippom (streaming on Zee5) which was released more than a year ago. It was his only Kollywood project which was released in the pandemic era.
