Shabash Feluda: Parambrata Chatterjee is all set to bring Gangtoke Gondogol

A new Feluda series is coming in May on Zee5. After Soumitra Chatterjee, Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, and Abir Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee is coming as the new Feluda on the web. The first glimpse of the series came out on Bengali New Year. Based on Satyajit Ray’s Gangtoke Gondogol, the series features Rwitobroto Mukherjee, and Topshe and Jatayu will be played by Rudranil Ghosh. Directed by Arindam Sil, the first season of Shabash Feluda will be dropped in May. 

Parambrata shared the first glimpse of the teaser on social media and wrote, “This time Magajastra will be sharper. When there is Gondogol in Gangtok, only Feluda can solve this. The childhood nostalgia comes back. Please watch the teaser of Sabas Feluda only on Zee 5.”

The teaser starts with snow-capped mountains, Sikkim’s local dance, and the monastery's exotic beauty. The thrill begins as a huge boulder is seen sliding down the ditch. Tension grows. Parambrata and Rudranil are shown.

Parambrata reminds the macho figure and the intelligent look of Feluda coming out from the book. Crimes happen in the dark, accompanied by bullets, and Feluda's Magajastra grows accordingly. Ritwik Chakraborty is also seen in the video. The series will be released on 5 May.

But the fans are not at all happy. They say that Rudranil is a mismatch with Jatayu. Rwitobroto also did not satisfy them. One person wrote 'Topshe..there is no peace.' Another wrote 'Do you have to destroy the theme? Some things are good as original.' However, some others praised it. One person wrote 'Good luck to the team. Waiting.' Another fan wrote 'From Topse to Feluda. A tremendous journey.'
