Shafaq Naaz upset as Avinash Sachdev refuses to accept they once dated

Falaq Naaz’s sister Shafaq Naaz has finally accepted that she was once dating Avinash Sachdev. This is after Avinash refused to accept that he dated Falaq as well as her sister, Shafaq. Shafaq and Avinash’s past came to the forth after Avinash proposed to Falaq on Bigg Boss OTT 2. Shafaq has now spoken on the matter, no holds barred. This is after Avinash’s statement on how he was ‘never romantically involved with Shafaq.’

Shafaq talks about Avinash and her relationship

Shafaq has opened up about her relationship with Avinash. She said that he should have respected the relationship, in an interview with ETimes. “Avinash should’ve respected the dignity of our relationship and not trivialized my feelings by lying,” the actress was quoted saying. She then revealed that he ghosted her and while she can laugh about it now, it had deeply affected her back then.

Details of their relationship

Avinash and Shafaq had started dating 11 years back, while shooting for Teri Meri Love Stories. She felt that being in a relationship shouldn’t be a ‘source of shame.’ The relationship lasted for six months and ended with him cutting off contact with her.

Avinash gets close to Falaq too

Avinash came across a situation on Bigg Boss OTT 2. He was on the show with his ex-girlfriend, Palak Purswani. She lasted on the show for a few weeks but it is when Avinash grew closer to Falaq. During one of his first interactions, Avinash had pointed out how Falaq’s name was closest to his ex, Palak’s. This is while Avinash and Palak’s arguments continued from real life to the show as well.

Avinash and Falaq would enjoy one another’s company on Bigg Boss OTT 2 and were often seen interacting on a level different from others in the house. It is when the show was coming to an end that Avinash confessed his feeling for Falaq. He said that he feels something for Falaq. The latter asked him to take things slow, stating that she is not in the state of mind to get into a relationship. Nonetheless, Avinash and Falaq’s chemistry was loved and continued even till Bigg Boss OTT 2 grand finale. They are yet to make an official announcement or public appearance to confirm their relationship.
