Siddharth Anand was asked to make a choice between Dunki and Salaar. While Shah Rukh Khan plays the lead in Dunki, Salaar features Prabhas.

Siddharth Anand delivered the blockbuster film Pathaan earlier this year. It featured Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. SRK made his comeback after 5 years with Siddharth's film. He shared screen space with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. After Pathaan and Jawan's success, Shah Rukh is gearing up for Dunki's release. It is most likely to clash with Prabhas' Salaar on December 22, 2023.
When Pathaan's director was asked to choose between SRK and Prabhas' film, he named Dunki. The film has been helmed by Rajkumar Hirani.
Siddharth Anand picks Dunki over Salaar
Siddharth recently revealed two favourite Bollywood songs of 2023. The filmmaker took to his official X account and wrote, "Two songs, this year that are ALWAYS, ALWAYS right on top of my playlist no matter what mood I am in. They are 1. Tumhe kitna pyar karte from BAWAAL by Mithoon11 and tanishkbagchi & 2. Chal tere Ishq mein from GADAR 2 by Mithoon11 (again) & VishalMMishra and sung amazingly by neetimohan18 . Well done guys (sic)."
And when a user asked to make a choice between Dunki and Salaar, the director added, "Dunki! No doubt (sic)."

Siddharth's upcoming film
Next, Siddharth will be back with a new film, Fighter. It features Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. Exactly a year after Pathaan, Anand's Fighter will hit the big screen on January 25, 2024. The star cast also includes Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi.
About Dunki
The teaser of Dunki is expected to be out soon. SRK will be seen romancing Taapsee Pannu in the movie. It is scheduled to be released during Christmas 2023.
