Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 still in competition on OTT; Vijay’s film makes it to top 3

Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 are still in competition with each other, even on OTT. The two movies were among the top grossing films in theatres. This week, Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 is out of the list. Vijay, who is fondly called Thalapathy, makes it to top three this week in the list released by Ormax Media. The list is for the week of November 17-23.

Jawan still at the top

Jawan remains untouched at the top spot. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer is the highest grossing film of the year and is so loved that it is still in theatres, apart from releasing on OTT. The movie marked SRK and Atlee’s first collaboration and has paved way for many more. They have confirmed the same. In fact, SRK and Atlee will be working with Vijay, who is among the most loved actors in India.

Gadar 2 still hanging on

Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 is still on the list, at the same rank as last week. The movie is the third ranking this week too. It was in competition with OMG 2 last week. The film, featuring Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi in the lead roles, had released with Gadar 2 in theatres.

Vijay’s film replaces OMG 2

Vijay’s latest release, Leo, has replaced OMG 2 at the spot. Thalapathy’s film is the latest to come on the list and it is the first time for the film to come on the list. The movie released on Netflix and instantly came in top 10 on the OTT platform as well.
