Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, to make his filmmaking debut as a writer?

In a step away from the legacy his father Shah Rukh Khan has made as a sought-after leading man in Bollywood, Aryan Khan seems to be more interested in a role on the filmmaking side of things. Shah Rukh himself had said many times that his son did not have any interest in appearing in front of the camera. It was announced that Aryan is gearing up to make his filmmaking debut soon, but as a writer on an upcoming series as well as a feature-length film.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, the series Aryan will start working on projects for Amazon Prime Video, and will revolve around the story of a ‘die-hard fan’. The series, which is said to be in the thriller genre, will reportedly be greenlit by Amazon this year. The film Aryan will be working for will be bankrolled by Shah Rukh’s production banner, Red Chillies Entertainment.

The scripts for the projects are still in course of being developed at the moment, and Aryan also has a few other projects under his father’s banner lined up. The report also stated that Aryan is working on one of them, alongside Bilal Siddiqi.

Shah Rukh’s daughter Suhana, on the other hand, seems to want to follow in her father’s footsteps as she is gearing up to make her on-screen debut with a Netflix web series, directed by Zoya Akhtar.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is currently keeping busy with his filming commitments of Siddharth Anand’s Pathan and a yet-to-be-titled Atlee film as well.
