Success gives one the courage to take greater risks, which is its main advantage. Since this is the case, it seems likely that Sidharth Malhotra would be ready to take more risks a year after the huge success of Shershaah (2021). His entrance into digital entertainment with Rohit Shetty's Indian Police Force, starring Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Vivek Oberoi, is one of these moves.

During an interaction with Mid Day, when the actor was asked if he had any concerns before making the jump, he said that there could be no question about working with Rohit Shetty as a young talent. Malhotra appreciates how macho he makes the Hindi film heroes appear. He was excited to give action a try and was down when he proposed the OTT concept. The actor exulted that in a Rohit Shetty world, who wouldn't want to be a police officer? He also called him the "OG" action movie director.

Thanks to the OTT boom, Indian entertainment has seen a significant change in the last two years. People are going to theatres less often now that they can read new stories on their phones and laptops. Malhotra acknowledges that actors and directors need to step up their game. The actor said that the distinctions between OTT and theatrical movies have become hazy. He's happy that people can watch stuff on their phones. They need to do a lot more to get actors to come to theatres, which is an interesting problem for the business. All of the young performers of today are trying their hand at one or more web series at the same time.

Undoubtedly, the introduction of OTT has affected one's stardom. Because of digital entertainment, a new generation of star actors has grown up, and the bigwigs of Bollywood are also happy to switch from the big screen to their laptops.

On being quizzed about how he sees this modification, Malhotra went on to say that there weren't many entertainment options in the past. Now we have theatres, social media, and a variety of ways to consume content. As a result, the definition of a star has evolved. Every category now has a star, and the game has changed as a result. Movies will always be alluring. Today, they benefit from technology and creative story-telling techniques. When he was struggling, his only options were TV and movies. He now has more options, though.
