It's been a few months since Sun Pictures had announced Thalaivar 169 with Rajinikanth in the lead. Director Nelson Dilipkumar is teaming up with the production house for the project for the second time after Beast. Anirudh has been roped in to compose music, too, Though no other news related to the film has been officially announced, the names of many celebs have been doing the rounds with regard to playing important characters in it.

Sivakarthikeyan is one among them; he is said to be essaying a crucial role. Since he had penned lyrics for a song each in Nelson's Doctor and Beast, there was news that he would be brought on board as a lyric writer as well.

In a chat with Galatta Tamil, Siva confirmed that he has not been approached for the project and that he is ready to do whatever it takes in case he gets a call from the makers. He said, "As of now, I'm not a part of the film. I would be glad and will give my best if I'm asked to contribute to the movie, no matter what."

Siva revealed that he is ready to jump on the pan Indian bandwagon and that all it matters is a right script. According to him, his sci-fi flick Ayalaan will have ample elements that will attract children.

"Ayalaan will definitely appeal to children more than some of my earlier films like Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Remo," he said. The actor's next outing is Cibi Chakaravarthi's Don which is hitting the screens tomorrow.
