The much-anticipated trailer for Illegal Season 3 has been unveiled, with streaming set to begin on JioCinema from May 29. Starring Neha Sharma and Akshay Oberoi, the courtroom drama continues with Niharika Singh played by Sharma pursuing her ambition to become Delhi’s top lawyer, clashing with Janardhan Jaitely played by Piyush Mishra, now the CM of Delhi. The new season introduces Neil Bhoopalam, Zayn Marie Khan, and others. The plot thickens as Akshay discovers his father’s dark secret, intensifying the father-son conflict, while Niharika's moral compass wavers amidst her power quest.

Devara – Part 1: Jr. NTR unleashes raw intensity in the promo of 'Fear Song'

Excitement for the Telugu action film Devara: Part 1 has reached new heights with the release of the promo for its first track, Fear Song. Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the song will be unveiled on the eve of Jr. NTR's birthday, May 19, 2024. The promo showcases Jr. NTR in various powerful settings, from walking confidently along the coast to commanding respect on the sea, emphasising his character's formidable presence. Anirudh Ravichander adds his charisma, singing the anthem “All Hail The Tiger." Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara: Part 1 is a highly anticipated two-part epic produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, and presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. The film features a star-studded cast, including Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, and is set to release on October 10, 2024.

Paul Schrader unveils new film ‘Non Compos Mentis’

Paul Schrader has announced his next film, Non-Compos Mentis, a noir exploring sexual obsession, planned to begin filming this fall. Revealed at the Cannes Film Festival while promoting his latest movie, Oh Canada, the project already has secured financing. Initially, Jamie Dornan was considered for the lead but stepped away due to the film's explicit nature. The film reunites Schrader with producer David Gonzales, who also produced Oh Canada. Schrader, known for Taxi Driver and First Reformed, continues to tackle provocative themes, showcasing his enduring prowess in filmmaking.

Yorgos Lanthimos to film ‘Bugonia’ with Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons

Yorgos Lanthimos will start filming his latest project, Bugonia, this July, starring Lanthimos’s frequent collaborator Emma Stone, along with Jesse Plemons. Focus Features has secured distribution rights, with Universal Pictures handling international distribution. Based on the South Korean film Save the Green Planet, the movie follows two conspiracy-obsessed men who kidnap a CEO they believe is an alien. Lanthimos reunites with producer Ed Guiney and writer Will Tracy for this dark comedy. Peter Kujawski of Focus Features and Jerry Kyoungboum Ko from CJ ENM express their enthusiasm for the unique collaboration, anticipating another innovative cinematic work from Lanthimos.

Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Chandu Champion’ trailer released, set for June 2024

Kartik Aaryan's upcoming biopic Chandu Champion, directed by Kabir Khan, tells the inspiring true story of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medalist. The trailer, released on May 18, showcases Petkar's journey from being an Army jawan wounded in the 1965 war to winning gold in the 1972 Paralympics. Aaryan, labelling it his "toughest film," premiered the trailer in his hometown, Gwalior. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film, also starring Bhuvan Arora, Palak Lalwani, and Adonis Kapsalis, are set to release on June 14, 2024. Petkar was awarded the Padma Shri in 2018 for his contributions.
