Srijit Mukherji’s Shotti Bole Shotti Kichu Nei: Falguni Chatterjee meets with an accident at shooting

Srijit Mukherji started shooting Shotyi Bole Shotyi Kichu Nei on June 10. The film has a stellar star cast with Parambrata Chatterjee, Kaushik Ganguly, Kaushik Sen, Phalguni Chatterjee, Rahul Arunodoy Banerjee, Kanchan Mullick, Anirban Chakrabarti and others. On the first day of shooting, veteran actor Phalguni Chatterjee met with an accident. 

On the first day of shooting, there was a shot of shattering glass. Phalguni got hurt when the glass shattered. He had severe cuts on his leg, hands, and face and he bled profusely. According to reports, his co-actor Parambrata called his son, actor Abir Chatterjee, who rushed to the shooting spot and took him to hospital. 

Phalguni’s wife, Rumki Chatterjee told OTTplay that he had two stitches on his leg. The rest of the wounds were also dressed by the doctor. He got back home. Phalguni is scheduled to resume shooting on Tuesday. “We wanted him to take some rest. However, it seems unlikely as there is a tight schedule. Phalguni is also geared up to shoot. He is determined,” she told us.  

Srijit Mukherji started shooting Shotyi Bole Shotyi Kichu Nei is based on Ek Ruka Huwa Faisla where there are 12 jurors debating on a verdict of a young convict. Phalguni, along with Parambrata, Kaushik Sen, and others, plays jury members in the film. OTTplay was first to report on the film.
