Two magnum opus is all set to have a major clash at the box office in January 2022. Yes, we are talking about SS Rajamouli's RRR and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi. On Friday, at an event, Rajamouli was asked about the clash of titans on the big screen. The ace filmmaker said that the clash won't affect any of the films. The Baahubali creator believes that if the films are good people will hop to the theatres to watch them.

Rajamouli stated, "I always believe if the films are good, it's not just two or four films coming together, the people are going to come and watch all the films. It happened again and again. You look back at the history, multiple instances have happened. Due to COVID-19 because everything was shut down for one and a half years, a bottleneck is expected."

The filmmaker added, "Everyone expects it, but if your films are good and if the content in your film is good, it doesn't matter how often how many films come together. People are going to come and watch it; they will be spoilt for choice."

Rajamouli was also quizzed if it was an easy or a difficult choice to release films at theatres after a long wait and not opting for OTT. The Eega director said, "It was very easy. I make films only for theatres. I make films for audiences to come together, watch the film together, the experiences that I have learnt from my childhood. The way my mind thinks is of a large number of audiences sitting together in one closed space and experiencing the emotions that I show on the screen. That's how my mind works, so that's the only way I look at it."

RRR features Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. The film is set to hit the big screens on January 7, 2021.
