Suriya, Jyothika to shift permanently to Mumbai for this reason?

Did your Instagram feed show a video of Tamil superstar Suriya requesting the paparazzi not to click the pictures of his children in Mumbai? If yes, you might have thought that Suriya was spotted in Mumbai during a causal visit to the city. But, if the reports are to be believed, Suriya and his wife Jyothika are planning to permanently shift to Mumbai. 

According to reports, Suriya and Jyothika have bought a new property in Mumbai and they will be moving into the new house soon. It's said that the couple has enrolled their children, Diya and Dev, into a popular school in Mumbai necessitating them to shift base from Chennai to Mumbai.

In Chennai, the couple were living in a joint family with Suriya's parents, father Sivakumar and mother, Lakshmi, and brother Karthi and his family. And that's the reason Suriya wanted to keep his kids away from the cameras to avoid the publicity that put undue stress on his children's lives in the new city and at the new school. 

On the career front, Suriya is now busy shooting for his upcoming big-budget movie. The film has been tentatively titled Suriya 42. Written and directed by Siva, the film is being mounted on a massive budget. Producer KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green claimed that it was the most expensive film in Suriya's career.  

"The budget of this film is three times over the highest budget film that Suriya has done so far. And the business of this movie is twice over his previous movies. It was very risky in terms of budget when we started," Gnanavel had said earlier. 

The producers are very cautious about protecting the sanctity of the project and they have undertaken all measures to prevent leaks from the sets. There's very little we know about the project at the moment. However, Gnanavel revealed that in the next few days, they will make key announcements about the movie. Suriya 42 has created a lot of interest among the movie-buffs across the country. So much so that the film is said to have generated record-breaking revenue in its pre-release deals .
