Tamil actors Jiiva and Shiva join hands for their upcoming film helmed by Pon Kumaran

The RJ-turned-actor Shiva earlier worked with the Ko famed actor in the 2018 comedy caper Kalakalappu 2.

The last time Jiiva and Shiva collaborated, they took us on a roller coaster ride of laughter, love and drama. The duo is coming together again to work on a project helmed by the Charulatha famed filmmaker, Pon Kumaran. But only time will tell what they have in store for us this time.

According to a Behindwoods report, filming of the upcoming Shiva-Jiiva starrer will go on floors likely in November. The entire shoot of the Pon Kumaran directorial movie is planned to take place in Mauritius. Apart from the horror movie Charulatha that starred Priyamani in the lead role, filmmaker Pon Kumaran is also known for several Kannada films like Vishnuvardhana and Raja Rajendra.

Talking about the upcoming projects of Shiva, the actor has several movies under his belt that includes the horror-comedy movie Idiot, directed by Rambhala of Dhilluku Dhuddu fame. He will also be seen in the rehash of the Tamil classic movie Kasethan Kadavulada, along with Priya Anand, Yogi Babu and Karunakaran.

Meanwhile, Jiiva, who was earlier seen in Gypsy, will be seen next in Methavi, directed by lyricist/actor/director Pa. Vijay. He will be sharing the screen with Action King Arjun in the film. He also has the Hindi movie ‘83 under his belt, which is the biopic of the former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev. The Ranveer Singh starrer features Jiiva in the role of former Indian cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth.

The Pon Kumaran movie with the two actors will be produced by Vinod Jain under the banner of Jaguar Entertainment. Details regarding the rest of the cast and crew of the movie are yet to be announced officially.
