Team Chandramukhi 2 wraps up first schedule, Radhika shares fun video with Vadivelu and Lawrence

Leading production house Lyca Productions announced Chandramukhi 2 officially a couple of months ago. Lawrence was roped in to play the lead in the movie to be helmed by P Vasu who directed the first part. Though the makers haven't clarified whether the project is an exact sequel to the 2005 Rajinikanth-starrer or not, it went on floors a few weeks ago in Mysore.

Lawrence had shared a couple of pictures of him posing for photos with Rajinikanth on his social media page and sought blessings from him before joining Chandramukhi 2. Later, the team released a picture from location featuring Lawrence, Vadivelu and Radhika among others.    

A video in which Vadivelu recreating his popular expressions from a comedy scene from Sura from the film's location went viral a few weeks ago. Lawrence and Radhika were seen enjoying the unique expressions of the veteran comedian.

Now, the actress has posted another video in which she along with Lawrence is seen slapping Vadivelu for fun during the shooting break. She also informed us that the team has wrapped up its first schedule. Radhika tweeted, "First schedule wrap #Chandramukhi2 nothing but high energy with @offl_Lawrence #vadivelu on #Pvasu's sets (sic)."

Lyca Productions, too, revealed the update about the movie's shooting status and posted a working still featuring Lawrence and P Vasu. The former is seen listening to the latter's instructions in it.

RD Rajasekar is cranking the camera for the movie which has music composed by MM Keeravani. Subiksha and Ravi Mariya, too, will be seen essaying pivotal roles in the project which is slated for a theatrical release in 2023. Lawrence's next film is Rudhran which will hit the screens in December.
