Thalaivar 169: Here's when fans of Rajinikanth can expect the much-awaited update on the film

The last few days have been quite exciting for fans of Rajinikanth as the production house of the star's Sivaji has been revealing unseen stills and making videos of the movie on social media on the occasion of the blockbuster film celebrating 15 years. They also released an audio clip featuring the Superstar thanking everyone associated with the movie.

Many celebs from the film industry and technicians who worked in the movie took to social media to recollect their memories related to Sivaji. Director Shankar posting a picture with Rajini himself on his Twitter page was the icing on the cake.

Now, Thalaivar fans have one more reason to rejoice; Sun Pictures is coming up with an announcement on his next outing which will have Nelson Dilipkumar at the helm. The production house which is bankrolling the movie revealed on their social media page that there will be an announcement tomorrow without mentioning any details.

Many fans of Dhanush assumed that the update will be on the star's Thiruchitrambalam. But a tweet which features emojis from Rajinikanth's manager hinted that the announcement will be related to Thalaivar 169 (tentative title).

Needless to say, fans have been trending the title on Twitter, and expressed their eagerness for the announcement which will be revealed at 11 am tomorrow. The other day, a video featuring actor Redin Kingsley, who is expected to play a role in the film, went viral after he spilled the beans on the film's status.

He informed that Nelson has completed writing for the first half of the movie and that the director is hell-bent on bouncing back with the project as his last outing failed to meet expectations. For now, Rajini fans are keeping their fingers crossed.
