Thalapathy 66: A still and a video from the location of the Vijay-starrer leaked; fans ask makers to be more cautious

It is known that the shooting of Thalapathy 66 (tentative title) is currently happening at a brisk pace. Though there are reports that makers are planning to come up with a surprise for fans of Vijay on June 22, on the star's birthday, an official announcement is yet to be made.

Meanwhile, the team is in shock after a still and a video have been leaked from the location. The still is that of a terraced house decorated by a small garden, and Vijay is seen standing near a door. The team is yet to reveal the appearance of the star, but it looks like movie buffs got to see a glimpse of how he is going to look like in the movie.

Similarly, the leaked video has Kushboo and Rashmika Mandanna being accompanied by crew members to their respective caravans. The two of them are seen having a chat as they walk towards the caravans.

Fans of Vijay who are disappointed with the leakage have tagged the film's director, producer and music director in their tweets, requesting them to be more cautious. A similar instance had happened a few weeks before the release of Vijay's Beast as well.

Vamshi Paidipally is at the helm of the project produced by Dil Raju. The untitled project features a bevy of actors like Prakash Raj, Sarath Kumar, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Prabhu, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Sangeetha Krish and Samyuktha among others.

There are reports that a notable Tollywood actor will be brought on board to essay a pivotal role in the movie. Though the name of Nani has been doing the rounds for a long time, the team is tight-lipped about it. Thalapathy 66 has been announced as a theatrical release on Pongal 2023.
