The Fall of the House of Usher is an upcoming gothic horror drama web series on OTT. The forthcoming show, which is based on a novel of the same name by Edgar Allan Poe, is created by Mike Flanagan. The makers have unveiled multiple promo videos of the series that give a glimpse of the horrifying events that take place inside a mansion.
Plot of the series
The Fall of the House of Usher revolves around a huge businessman, the CEO of a pharmaceutical company, and his big family who live apart but decide to meet up one day for a crucial announcement that turns their world upside down. As soon as they all come together in their ancestral mansion mysterious and brutal deaths as well as supernatural occurrences start to take place.

Along with creating, Mike Flanagan has also written as well as directed the show alongside Michael Fimognari. It stars Carla Gugino and Bruce Greenwood in pivotal roles along with Mary McDonnell, Carl Lumbly, Samantha Sloyan, T'Nia Miller, Rahul Kohli, Kate Siegel, Sauriyan Sapkota, Zach Gilford, Willa Fitzgerald, Katie Parker, Malcolm Goodwin, Michael Trucco, Henry Thomas and Mark Hamill as key characters. Bankrolled by Mike Flanagan, Trevor Macy, Emmy Grinwis, Michael Fimognari and Melinda Nishioka under the banner of Intrepid Pictures, The Fall of the House of Usher is all set to release online only on Netflix on October 12, 2023.
