The buzz around The Kerala Story is about to intensify yet again as the movie has now hit Zee5 and is available for streaming for subscribers. The movie that made waves last year had a very successful run at the theatres, and the box office is enough to prove that. Now, as it makes its way to streaming, the movie will grab even more eyeballs.

It looks like producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah wants to use the privilege of attention and deviate it towards another project he is producing, as the latest updates suggest that the streaming version of the Adah Sharma starrer comes with an attached teaser of his next produced movie, Bastar: The Naxal Story.

Bastar Teaser Attached To The Kerala Story

Yes, you read that right. The teaser of Bastar is available for streaming with The Kerala Story, as it is attached to it on the streaming platform. Viewers will get to watch it before the film begins. The makers have so far released two teasers for the movie. Starring Adah Sharma in the lead, Bastar: The Naxal Story tells the tale of the titular place that is ruled by the Naxalites, the struggle of the people who stay there, and how they have succumbed to cruelty.

About Bastar

The first teaser of Bastar: The Naxal Story features Adah Sharma in it and has her give the premise of the film. Playing the part of an IPS named Neerja Madhavan, she talks about how the Indian army has been at war against the Naxalites in Bastar. The second teaser features Indira Tiwari as a local from Bastar who has been on the receiving end of torture by the Naxalites. She reveals how her family was destroyed by them. The movie is directed by Sudipto Sen, who also directed The Kerala Story.

Talking about The Kerala Story, the movie opened to mixed reception, with critics being divided. But it was lapped up by a section of the audience, which was massive. It went on to earn Rs 303.97 crore globally, out of which Rs 288.04 crore were collected in India.

The Kerala Story is about young girls in Kerala who are allegedly brainwashed into turning terrorists; they are taken to ISIS-controlled countries where they are trained. The movie has Adah Sharma in the lead, and she plays one of the girls who is brainwashed and taken away. As for Bastar: The Naxal Story, the movie is all set to hit the big screen on March 15, 2024.
